We’ve found that fish are starting to move into the River. Outside Pine Island has been good in 18 to 33 feet of water, jigging with shiner minnows.  The sturgeon have also been very active in the River and the guests are catching multiple sturgeon.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate the next few days with no wind to clean up the water in the Lake.  img_20160926_130822_454-2

September 1st Fishing Report

The guides have been catching fish down-rigging in 34 feet of water.  They’ve also had luck pulling spinners with crawlers and minnows by Little Oak, Hay Island, Four Block and other spots in Little Traverse Bay in 14 to 18 feet of water.  Jigging closer to the Resort along the Border in 30 to 32 feet of water has started to improve with a mixed bag of sauger and walleye being caught.
